The Babies!

My Uncle Sean and his wonderful wife Mia just had baby twins 5 weeks ago. They are adorable. They live in the Portland, Oregon area so my mom and I just had to fly out and meet these gorgeous babies. Leo and Fiona are the cutest things ever. Even when they cry it is cute (I probably think this because they don't keep me up all night.) I can't even express how sweet they are. I loved just holding them and watching them. I can't wait till Rich and I will have a baby of our own...someday:)

The babies and me. I am loving every second of this.

The gorgeous Fiona. She is for sure going to be a heartbreaker. She is adorable.

And the handsome Leo. What a stud. I could not get enough of those cheeks. I love them!

We also visited the house that I spent the first 3 years of my life in. It was fun to get a little history lesson on myself.

I loved hanging out with my family. They are all so much fun to be around. It makes me really sad that we don't live closer so I can see them more often. I guess that means just more vacations to Portland!

~*Our Kitchen*~

Ever since we moved in, I haven't been crazy about our kitchen cabinets. They used to be those light oak cabinets that were really popular in the late 90's and early 2000's.

After finishing our basement we decided to paint them. We thought...this is going to be cake. Take off the cabinets, sand, wash, prime, paint, and put the cabinets back on. Well lets just say it is a lot easier said than done. Rich did most of the sanding with an electronic hand sander in our garage. I did the little things with sand paper that the hand sander couldn't get to.

Then we washed all the cabinets and started painting. Our kitchen looked like a disaster for a while.

After 2 coats of paint and lots of patience, we have a new kitchen! We love it.

I love the bead board on the island. That might be my favorite part.

What do you think?

~*Our Basement*~

We finished our basement and it has been done for a almost a month now and I am just blogging about it! I am a little behind. When we moved into our house our basement was completely unfinished. Rich finished the entire thing with help from his dad and little help from some friends. We love it in our basement. I love blues in a room but I don't have any in my house so I decided to make the basement my blue room. I love it. I am so thankful for my husband who seems to know how to do everything. He is awesome. He spoils me.
Sadly, I don't have a picture of our basement before it was framed but this is a picture after Rich framed it.

This is our basement now...!!

These are some of my decorations. I love them so I thought I would share.
