Thanksgiving & Black Friday

Thanksgiving is the best! I love spending time with my family and eating good food. It is possibly the best combination ever. This year we ate Thanksgiving dinner with my family, which was delicious and then we went to the Rich's parents and hung out with them and watched the Cowboys beat the Raiders, which made Thanksgiving that much more fabulous! My dad gave us his tickets to the Jazz game that night. It was so good to see that Jazz win for once! We also got to put of all of our Christmas stuff including our tree, which is one of the reasons I love thanksgiving, because it is officially the first day of the Christmas season. It was my best Thanksgiving ever so far. I love being married and getting to spend all my holidays with Rich. I am SO thankful for him:)

Rich and I did Black Friday for the first time EVER this year...it was insane. I could not believe that people would wait in the cold outside a store for HOURS just to get one item. Thankfully Rich and I bought the TV we wanted a week before at Best Buy's pre-sale. We had a list of things that we wanted to get, prioritized our list and made a game plan. Kohls-3:45 Best Buy-4:30 Target-5:15 Walmart-5:45 and Kmart-6:15. Everything was going perfectly as planned until we got to Walmart. OMG. It was the craziest thing I had ever seen. The lines were pretty much all the way to the back of the store, so we left and decided to go to Kmart, where there were hardly any lines. We got what we needed and Rich went back to Walmart later and got everything we wanted there. We got lucky. It was awesome. We ended up spending $360.00 and saved $375.00. I can't wait for next year. It was fun! We ended up getting 2 entry way Christmas trees, a monitor for our computer, a drill, a sewing machine, a picture frame, an office chair, a knife set, and an external hard drive. We scored.

Thankful

I love the Thanksgiving season when the leaves change and you look foreward to spending time with family. Every year my mom puts up this gratitude tree and you are supposed to write on the leaves what you are thankful for and put them on the tree. Here and just a few things that I am thankful for.

• Rich, my amazing husband.
• My wonderful family including my awesome in laws, I totally scored.
• My awesome ward and church and our callings and just the gospel in general.
• My car and the fact that it is paid off.
• My friends, I think Rich and I have the most amazing, supportive friends ever
• Slippers, my feet would be freezing without them
• Christmas time
• Serving others
• Living somewhere with all 4 seasons
• The scriptures
• The temple
• The country that we live in.
• Apples and Peanut butter
• My job and Rich’s Job. We have been so blessed.
• Rich’s sense of humor, he can always make me laugh when I’m having a bad day
• People who are thoughtful.
• Our president, even though I don’t like him that much, I’m glad we have one.

Rich's 25th

My hubs is a quarter of a century! For his actual birthday Rich and I went to dinner and then came home and I made him some yummy pumpkin muffins (his fav) and then he opened some presents. That weekend we went to Tucanos (our fav) and then to the Jazz vs Clippers game and surprisingly it was a pretty good game! I have so much fun with Rich and he does so much for me. He is seriously the sweetest guy ever. When I haven't seen him all day and he gives me a kiss when I get home I still get butterflies. He is amazing and I am so lucky he was born. I have never loved anyone like I love Rich. I love the life we have together and all of our fun memories. I am just so amazed how blessed I am to have him in my life. It is overwhelming. I love you Rich. Happy B-day babes.
