Marriage:)

♥ How long have you been together?
We have been together for 11 months and married for 7

♥ How long did you know each other before you started dating?
We met at a halloween party in October then we watched a movie with a bunch of friends in December but we really didnt start hanging out until April. So technically 6 months.

♥ Who asked who out?
Rich asked if he could take me out for my birthday

♥ Where was your first date?
We went to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner then we went back to his apartment and watched one of the Jazz playoff games and then we went to blockbuster and got 16 blocks and watched that too. It was lots of fun:)

♥ Who proposed? How?
Rich proposed. He lured me away from his apartment and had a friend come and set up candles and roses and rose petals all over the place. It was gorgeous. When we walked in to the apartment, he played me Forever by Ben Harper (our song) on the guitar and then he asked me to marry him. I said yes of course!

♥ Any wedding day mishaps?
Our wedding day was a million times better than I could have ever imagined. The one thing that went wrong was I spilled a little makeup on my dress before the reception but nothing too serious. Nothing could have ruined that day for me. It was absolutely perfect.

♥ How old are each of you?
I am 19 and Rich is 24

♥ Do you have children together?
No kids yet...

♥ What about pets?
Nope, we aren't big animal lovers

♥ Did you go to the same school?
We both went to UVSC at the same time

♥ Are you from the same town?
No Rich was born in American Fork and grew up in Lindon and I was born in Portland, Oregon and grew up in Sandy

♥ Who is the smartest?
Rich, he is always teaching me new things.

♥ Who is the most sensitive?
I am but Rich is very sensitive and aware of my feelings. He's the best husband ever!

♥ Where do you eat out most as a couple?
We try to mix it up but probably Chili's or Cafe Rio

♥ Where is the farthest place you have traveled as a couple?
The Bahamas. It was sooooo much fun!

♥ Who has the worst temper?
I do. I have never seen Rich lose his temper.

♥ Who does most of the cooking?
I do when I have time. He makes me breakfast sometimes though and he is way good at it.

♥ Who is more social?
We are both pretty social. I am a little more shy right when you meet me but once you get to know me I dont stop talking. Rich is super outgoing and gets along with everyone so maybe he is a little more social than me.

♥ Who is the neat freak?
Definitely not me. There is a place for every item that Rich has. My place for everything is the floor in our bedroom.

♥ Who is more stubborn?
We both can be stubborn but i think I am a little bit more. I dont like to admit that I'm wrong.

♥ Who hogs the bed?
I do! I like to cuddle so I cuddle him to the edge of the bed and I like to spread out. He is a good sport about it though.

♥ Who has the craziest exes?
Probably me, but I'm not a fan of any girls that dated Rich.

♥ Who wakes up earlier?
It depends on the day, some days i have to be at work and 5:00 and others I get to sleep in a little longer. Rich always has work at 9 unless he has an early morning meeting.

♥ Who has the bigger family?
Rich, he is the youngest of 7

♥ Whose siblings do you see the most?
Mine, we live in my parents mother-in-law apartment right now so we see my brothers almost daily

♥ How do you spend the holidays?
We spend the holidays with family. We both have pretty big families and we love going over and spending time with them. Both of our families have really fun traditions. I wouldn't rather be anywhere else during the holidays. Both of our families are amazing!

♥ Do you get flowers often?
Yes, Rich is always surprising me with sweet things like flowers. He is awesome

♥ Who is more jealous?
I definitely am. A lot of girls dont understand boundaries with married men.

♥ Who does the laundry?
Its pretty even, we do all our laundry on Saturday or Sunday so we do it together.

♥ Who is better with the computer?
Rich, I am pretty good with computers but Rich is definitly better

♥ Who drives when you are together?
Rich always drives, he is better at it

Job Shmob

Lately I have been pretty stressed out and just kind of feeling like things aren't going my way. My job requires me to work 50-60 hours per week in far away places and most of the time late at night. I work late almost every friday night. It makes it really hard to keep up with everything else. I dont get to spend very much time with Rich during the week because he works 9-5 and I usually go to work at 11 or 12 and get off at 10. We dont get to hang out with friends a lot because of my schedule and I feel like I miss out on things.
BUT~ this was put in perspective for me. I was talking to my sister Brittany and she had invited Rich and I to do something with her and her husband on a day that I had to work late, of course I said I couldn't and then told her how much I hated my job right now and that I wish that I could work normal hours so I could do fun things with my family and friends when I wanted to. She told me 1 in 15 Americans are unemployed right now and that in Ohio there was a janitor job at a school and there were 498 applications for it! The economy is so bad and I'm blessed that I have a job that allows me to work 50+ hours a week so Rich and I can save money. I'm blessed that Rich has a good job. We are blessed to have friends who are supportive and still welcome us in and love us even though we haven't been able to see them in months! and we are blessed to have such great family members who constantly uplift and support us. we love you all very much and are so thankful for you!
Somebody told me when I was little that--If you dont like something, change it. If you cant change it, change your attitude-- Even though my hours at work still suck and probably aren't gonna change I am blessed because I am living in amazing circumstances compared to most the people in the rest of the world. Thanks for being so supportive everyone!

SNOW

OK. It is April 3rd and it is snowinig like crazy outside! what is up with that? I am sooooo ready for spring and warm weather. It better warm up soon or I'm gonna go crazy!
